Data Privacy Policy
MySOS mobile application is a messaging application designed for public users to connect and communicate. In addition to the messaging feature, MySOS app allow user to manage personal document, note, task, agenda and posting any lost/found items via their mobile.
User of the application
- Public User:Any user who are willing to register for an account by using their phone number. Upon registration, 6 digits PIN number will be sent to their phone number as One-Time Password (OTP).
Data collected by the system
The system stores limited data with consent from its users including:
- User identity data which is collected under users' consent while creating account, it includes:
- Name: To display on the application
- Phone Number: is used to receive OTP PIN Code
- Profile Image: collected under users’ consent
- Messaging: when using messaging feature, Text Messages, Media and Files are collected and stored on our server
- Text message: all users’ text messages in each chat room are encrypted by using end-to-end encryption mechanism and stored as encrypted data on our server. Only users belong to the respective chat room can have access to Message Encryption Key (MEK) to decrypt the message. This mechanism will ensure data security and privacy for our users.
- Media and files: all medias and files are collected under users’ consent.
- Lost and Found: when posting lost or found information via our MySOS mobile application, information such as description, lost/found category, lost/found date time and address (commune, district and province) are collected and store on our server
- Using other features (Document Management, Note Management, Agenda and Task Management) will collect other information such as description, keywords, files/media and GPS locations (optional) under user consent.
Data storage
- All collected data are stored on the server managed by the MySOS developer team who priority data security and data privacy for our users.
Data usage and sharing
- Data manipulation or analysis will be done only for the purpose of providing better service to users
Manage Your Account
- At any time, user can request to delete their account by going to account setting/delete my account. Once the request is successfully submitted, the requested account will be disable for 14 days before it will be permanently deleted from our server.
Access permission
- GPS Location (Optional): The GPS location is only use in Agenda feature to define location of their meeting with optional option.
- Camera: This app needs user’s consent to access to camera for (1) taking profile picture and (2) taking picture to send in messaging feature.
- Photos, Media and Files: This app needs user’s consent to access Photo gallery, Media and Files on use’s device when (1) user choose to upload your profile picture, (2) user choose to send Photos, Media, and Files in messaging feature (2) Upload Photo, Media and Files to their own Document collection (Document Management Feature), (3) Upload Photo when posting Lost/Found, (4) Upload image/file when adding new note, (5) Upload image/file when adding new meeting and (6) Upload image/file when adding new task.
